Description

Product description

Taiwan is the cradle of oolong, but its green tea is not to be ignored. Drawing its name from the village of Long Jing (literally translated Dragon Well), where it’s grown, hand-picked, pan-fired, rolled, and then dried, this tea is steeped in Taipei folklore. As tradition dictates, it’s never left to oxidise, so that the flavour is fresh, grassy, and light.

Taste

Grown in the midst of a dragon’s well – or so it would lead you to believe – this tea is unmistakable. Earthy, grassy, and delicate, it’s a tea with a mellow flavour and a subtle tanginess.

As you’d expect of a Formosa variety, it’s a very drinkable tea, with no bitterness or unpolished aftertaste.

Caffeine Level

With about 20mg per cup, the caffeine level in this tea is relatively low. So, enjoy your cuppa with or without a meal, day or night.
